Paul's Safety Bottle Ink Co Desk Set 3 Bottles w/ Frame
From Paul's Choice Inks & Mucilage, who produced the automatic non-spillable safety bottle in 1897. Paul's Ink purchased the Safety Bottle & Ink Company. 3 glass bottles, 2 are marked. "Safety Bottle and Ink Co. NY Pat. July 9, 1895". This wonderful set of three bottles sits into an iron frame. (Which looks like it has been painted, over rust). Hard rubber inserts for end bottles. One red for red ink, and one black for black ink. No insert for center bottle, (some chips on top edge of round center bottle). No chips or cracks on outside bottles. The iron frame has four feet and arms in front to hold pens. 11" by 5" frame. 2 outside bottles are 1 3/4" high, with a 2 1/2" square base. Very nice antique set.
