They are used anywhere a premium grade shielded female coax connector is needed.

Part number is believed to be ERA-00-250-CTL.Chrome plated brass
body is slightly over a quarter inch wide and has an optional use anti-rotation
flat. Impedance is 50 Ohms, Full gold flashed contacts. Dielectric is believed
to be teflon. Rated to 4 amps and 900 volts. Extends half an inch behind panel.
Solder style internal connector intended for direct wiring.
Requires Metric #7x0.5 nut and optional washer, NOT supplied.
